Its deep green, thick leaves stand out and provide valuable refuge for aquatic animals. Like virtually all \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003eAnubias\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e plants, it is extremely hardy, undemanding, and can thrive in a variety of water parameters.\u003c\/span\u003e We are thrilled to now be able to offer this plant attached to an attractive 6+ inch driftwood piece!\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003eCare for Anubias Frazeri is identical to other\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003eAnubias\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eplants. It is best placed in the middle ground and will look its best under low to moderate lighting. Excessive lighting can result in unattractive, pesky algae growth on its leaves. However, this algae growth can easily be kept under control in an aquarium with a healthy population of shrimp (especially Amano shrimp) that will constantly graze on the algae without harming the Anubias plant itself. Most herbivorous animals will not harm Anubias Frazeri whatsoever, although some biofilm\/”wood-eating”\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003ePanaque\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003egenus plecos may “chew” holes in its leaves.  \u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003eLike many Anubias species, this plant is slow and steady in growth and does not seem to respond to CO2 supplementation as highly as many other plants. It does best when attached to driftwood or rockwork. It can be planted in the substrate but its rhizome (roots) must not be completely buried in the substrate or it will rot and recede.
